Huacas, or shrines, are marked by dots and identified by name here, and portions of three of the ceques, or lines of shrines, of Cuzco's southwest quarter (Cuntisuyu) are mapped. The Coricancha is the Temple of the Sun, the heart of Cuzco and the Inca empire. Ceque 13 coincides with the sunset on the December solstice, a calendrically important event.
