This is an interesting one: My two eldest sons stand beside this monument. A Freemason hall stands some feet up the road. In order to place it where it belongs, they had to build it in the middle of the road!

This is called "Prince's Lodge". The building has an interesting history. It is now private dwelling, but the land around it is a public park. The building is completely round, and fits nicely into the geometry.

This is the monument in Point Pleasant Park, in Halifax. It is a point that involves several of the figures and acts as a 'connector' for several of them. I love the huge "Templar Sword".

This 'cross' is found in an abandoned graveyard in Pleasant Point. The grave markers around it are very old, but still readable. This marker has no inscription, and falls in the right spot. At the head of the only road to this site is the typical Mason's Lodge. The graveyard has a plywood sign {knocked over} that states "Pioneer graveyard". In Nova Scotian terms, this usually means: "It was here when we got here".

The name Roslin is always significant. It is especially so because of this community's placement in the geometry.
