At Confusion Hill Vortex in California, a redwood tree, which would ordinarily have no swirl in the trunk, grows in an extreme spiral in response to the swirling vortex energies. Often at vortexes, trees grow in unusual ways up to the top of the energy "ball," then proceed to grow normally.
